The Honourable Tony Sheehan is the founder of Euro Pacific Strategies and Executive Chairman. His experience at the highest level of government and corporate Australia provides clients with a unique understanding and access to decision makers. A Board member of a number of private companies, public institutions and research organizations. Tony Sheehan possesses a formidable legislative and business network.
As a former senior Victorian Government Minister Tony held the portfolios of Treasurer, Minister for Finance and Minister for Housing and Construction. During this time he represented the State of Victoria at numerous international and national forums including Ministerial Councils, Premiers Conferences and Loan Councils; negotiated national and international resources and finance agreements; and established Treasury Corporation Victoria with a $30 billion portfolio.
As Executive Chairman of Euro Pacific Strategies Tony Sheehan has advised on major international projects and has been engaged by European Governments to advise on public policy issues. As an invited speaker at international conferences in Europe Tony has been recognized for his global perspectives.
Under his leadership Euro-Pacific Strategies has established an impressive record of acting as a highly effective adviser, facilitator and bridge between business and government. Key to his success is his ability to identify and attract as partners individuals who are the best in business.
Tony is a Member of the Governing Council of La Trobe University, and a Director of several
private companies.
